The Retey family has been providing exceptional hearing care since 1993. As a second-generation hearing aid specialist Paul feels incredibly blessed to continue the mission of acting locally to transform lives with better hearing. Paul founded Inlet Hearing Aid Center in 2015 to bring his vision of patient-focused care to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. The cornerstones of honesty and integrity have been so well received that Paul expanded with offices in Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island and renaming the company ABSOLUTE HEARING CARE CENTERS.
Paul is a member of the International Hearing Society (IHS) and serves as the treasurer of the state chapter South Carolina Hearing Aid Society (SCHAS). In 2021 Paul was appointed by the Governor to serve as a commissioner on the board of the SC Hearing Aid Commission.
Paul earned advanced degrees from Tufts University in Boston, and the University of New Hampshire. He is state licensed and nationally Board Certified and possesses experience in the most up-to-date diagnostic technologies and advanced hearing solutions.
Paul and his wife Lisa, a middle school teacher, focus on growing their Christian faith and raising their 4 children: daughters Chloe Gabriella (15), Lily Elizabeth (13), Abby Claire (11), and son Kal Thomas (8).
Chris Cornwell

As a seasoned veteran with over 10 years of professional hearing aid specialist experience in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, Chris brought his passion for improving lives through better hearing to Absolute Hearing in 2018. Chris has seen the truly life changing effects of better hearing across patients of all ages - 18 to 106 years old - and is honored to now be serving our local Grand Strand community. One of his greatest rewards is the expression on someone's face after hearing their spouse's voice for the first time in years.
In his free time, Chris enjoys a wide variety of activities and sports but spends most of his time with his beautiful wife Traci and their twin girls, Tessa and Taylor.
Holly Sessions
Patient Care Coordinator
Holly Sessions is our Patient Care Coordinator for our Murrells Inlet Office. She is known for her warm smile and unmistakable southern charm. Born and raised in South Carolina, she brings kindness, patience, and a welcoming spirit to every interaction.
Holly has been with the company since 2018 and truly takes pride in working at Absolute Hearing Care Centers.
Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her husband, Bud and their son Silas. Whether they are chasing thrills at their favorite amusement parks or soaking up the sunshine on their local beaches.
Donna Sileo
Patient Care Coordinator
Donna Sileo is our Patient Care Coordinator at our Myrtle Beach office. She is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the service industry who joined our team in 2023. She has a warm, friendly nature and loves to spread joy and kindness wherever she goes. Donna will greet and patiently assist you with her positive, upbeat attitude, reflecting how much we truly care about our patients at Absolute Hearing Care Centers.
Donna, originally from New Jersey, moved here in 2019 with her husband Steve and couldn’t be happier! They are very blessed to have their children and grandchildren here as well. She loves spending time with her family, making beautiful memories.
